Here are the age 7 g scores from wave 4 of the Millennium Cohort Study. The kids were tested in 2008 on the British Ability Scale. The first column shows the gQ, the second column shows the standard error, and the last shows the sample sizes. The Black-White differences is a mere .36 SD. For comparison, Flynn and Dickens (2005) gives an age 7 US difference of .5 SD.

This still doesn’t tell us anything about those children left behind in Africa, not to mention about adult IQ which is the one that really matters for a society.
Also, data from a country in which you can literally get arrested for criticizing minorities is unreliable at best.
I’ve already explained that it tells us quite a bit. It sets an upper limit to the European-African gap. And that upper limit is much lower than what most ‘race realists’ contend. how do you know this data is even accurate – not made up? I don’t trust anything from the UK.
You are not taking into account selective immigration. Around half the british black population is of recent origin from Africa (2001 UK Census, 565,876 Black Caribbean, 485,277 as Black African). These recent immigrants many of which work in health or education are not typical of their community of origin. 25% of them have a degree compared to around 1% in Africa
44 percent of African immigrants to US had achieved a college degree, compared with 23 percent of the U.S. population as a whole. If you were to compare recent immigrants from Africa to the US population as a whole, you would come to the similar wrong conclusion that there is no difference between black and white IQ.
i should add. Half of british blacks are drawn from the top 1% of their population (in Africa). But shouldn’t their kids regress to the norm? Not necessarily, in places like Nigeria (the single biggest supplier of UK blacks) there is a tradition of elite families who were advisors to kings, first in line for colonial goodies, and now well educated. (similar to Indian castes). Hence, if people who have been 3 or 4 generation elites in Africa, and are the top 1% of African performance, subsequently come to UK i would expect there kids to perform higher than the African norm (ditto for kids of 4 generation american elites). Added to that the culture of education in Africa which is the ‘tiger mom’ – beat education into them.
Add to this, the GSCE is so de-based it is little more than a test of basic numeracy and literacy. Making tests very easy, reduces BW difference.

there is widespread confusion on regression to the norm on the HBD sphere. As most discussants appear to be male, let me give a simple example. If you marry a really smart girl and all her relatives are waitresses, and firemen, and factory workers, your kids will be average too. if you marry a really smart girl and all her family are writers and judges and profs, your kids will be much brighter than average (on average).
Within relatively stable societies, the phenomenon of high achieving families is common and their offspring regress to high achieving norm not a societal norm (google darwin, huxleys, etc etc)
just read: 56% of young black males in britain are unemployed — more than twice the national average. Remind me: how does that square with no difference? Maybe racist English employers?
